“The aim of BLAST is to provide pupils in schools all over the country with the time and the space to work with a professional artist on creative, imaginative and fun projects. Carmel Balfe from BLAST Arts in Education Residency Programme 2022/2023 will begin working
with children from Infants to Second class beginning January 12th. Carmel’s medium of art is puppetry.
There will be one workshop per week for each classroom up until the 9th February.



Siobhán Cox Carlos, also affiliated with BLAST Arts (TAP) in Education, will begin working with
the older children (3rd -6th class) in January. Siobhán will meet the teachers on Friday 13th January
before beginning her work with the children from January 19th. Siobhán’s medium of art is Murals.
